Essentially, cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.Overall, cookies helps to provide a better browsing experience, by enabling to monitor which pages are found to be useful and which are not. This is used to track user interaction which is a commonplace feature on many websites. Although Google Analytics records data such as your geographical location, device, internet browser and operating system, none of this information can be used for identification.

Google Analytics also records your computer’s IP address which could be used to identify an individual, however Google do not grant access to this data or information.
